Chiropractic Pediatric Certification
Dr. Owens was one of the first chiropractors in Canada to complete post graduate training in pediatrics (DICPA), under the reknowned Dr. Larry Webster. She is certified in the Webster Technique; a gentle, non-invasive procedure often effective in properly repositioning breech babies.
Cranial Sacral Therapy
Dr. Owens holds Level One certification in Upledger Cranial Sacral Technique. In addition to chiropractic, this work is often effective in TMJ and headache management.
Reiki
Dr. Owens is certified in Reiki (Usui), Second Degree. Reiki is a hands-on form of energy healing derived from the ancient Japanese. Dr. Owens received her instruction from esteemed Reiki Master Bernard Morin.
