What to Expect
Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!

Your First Visit: First of all, relax! Our office is very 'homey' and Bonnie, our office manager will greet you with a warm smile. She will give you forms to fill out regarding the purpose of your visit and your health history. A comprehensive informed consent is included. Then Dr. Owens will meet with you personally to discuss your health concerns and determine if chiropractic care is right for you. After a thorough examination, we will discuss your care recommendations.
We take pride in our listening skills and questions are most welcome! You may even be able to commence treatment and receive your first adjustment on your initial visit. Bonnie will review office policies and payment options with you in complete confidence. We have flexible plans to help make chiropractic affordable so you can receive the care that is best for you. Total time required is between 60 to 80 minutes, depending on your needs.
Your Second Visit: If x-rays were part of your examination, your second visit will include a review of your films, your recommendations for care and your first treatment or adjustment. That will take about half an hour. If you have already had your first adjustment on your initial visit, then you will be in and out in about 10 minutes.
A Typical Visit: A typical visit only takes around 5 to 10 minutes. Every adjustment builds on the one previous, so it is important to follow your treatment schedule in order derive the maximum healing benefits of your chiropractic care. Over the next few weeks we will be seeing a lot of each other, so your regular office visits will be brief.
